2014 SID Show Preparation

Well it’s that time of year again. Baseball season has begun, the “official” first day of summer is four weeks away, and we are making last minute plans for the annual Society for Information Display's (SID) symposium and tradeshow. This year the Display Week Show will be held in San Diego California from June 1-6. As we have done for the past eight year in a row, Sun-Tec America will once again exhibit our Display Taping and Lamination Equipment at the SID Show in an attempt to find new customers and stay connected with past customers. The next seven days leading up to the show will be hectic as we make final plans to insure another successful event. But something seems a little different this year compare to years past.

No matter how busy we are at the moment preparing for the upcoming show, it is impossible to ignore the fact　that two very familiar faces will not be at the show with us in the Sun-Tec America booth this year.
In December of 2013 Sun-Tec President Mitsuo Matsumoto announced his retirement and in February moved into the role of Chairman. Everyone knows the story of how Matsumoto-san started Sun-Tec more than 35 years ago and helped to make it into the company that it is today. While in January of 2014, Mr. Michael Choi, who was the founder of Kenix Industries (the first Sun-Tec US Sales Rep), also announced his retirement. Michael was also a Technical Sales Consultant for Sun-Tec America and played a major role in opening the Sun-Tec America office in Scottsdale Arizona as an advisor. We will miss seeing these two pioneers in the Sun-Tec booth at SID this year 4in San Diego.

So we say good-bye to them both, and wish them all the best as they begin their newest challenge, “retirement”. But I have a feeling that we will see them both together again somewhere…not in the Sun-Tec booth at a tradeshow. More like on the tee box at a golf course.

He has been working for Sun-Tec for 24 years and former executive director.
We will be "New Sun-Tec" under him.
We keep trying to provide better machine and service.

And, we exhibited in Fintech 2014 in Tokyo big site.
This year we displayed .. High accuray roll to Sheet laminationa machine Model: R2S-12S-V-CV This machine achieves +/-50 um lamination accuracy!

And
Curved surface lamination machine Model: APF-07S-SP This machien laminate a film on curved surface without vacuum chamber.
